Rami Mehio is Vice President, BioInformatics and Instrument Software at Illumina, Inc. (NASDAQ: ILMN). Formally VP of Engineering at Edico Genome, the creator of the DRAGEN BioIT processor, Rami now leads the BioInformatics development effort at Illumina, spanning methods development for primary and secondary analysis, software development, FPGA acceleration and embedding DRAGEN onto Illumina sequencers and the cloud. Rami also drives the development of the software that powers Illumina’s market-leading sequencers. With a strong track record of managing multi-disciplinary development teams and taking products to market, Rami has more than 20 years of technical management experience in various fields, including bioinformatics, FPGA development, cellular modem, RF IC, embedded software development and underwater acoustic modems.

In this webinar, we will deep dive in the technology that makes DRAGEN, the different deployment methods of DRAGEN and the flexibility it offers.
