Interest in the field of epigenetics has increased rapidly over the last 15 years. So far, methylation analysis has been the most studied type of epigenetic regulation. Other, less studied mechanisms of regulation include non-coding RNA and histone modifications.

Dr. Marzi is Group Leader at the UK Dementia Research Institute at Imperial College London. Her team is interested in epigenetic regulations in neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. In this webinar, Dr. Marzi will take us through her research on dysregulation of histone acetylation in Alzheimer’s disease.
