Angie graduated from Kings College, London with a PhD in Biochemistry in 2003. Her PhD research focused on epigenetics in breast cancer. She worked as a researcher for many years in the oncology field, before moving into diagnostics and biomarker discovery for non-invasive prenatal testing using cell-free DNA and single cells from maternal blood. She joined Illumina as a Technical Applications Scientist in 2018, and has developed specialisations in Library prep, Oncology and Reproductive Genetic Health. |
