Kingsley graduated from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) in 2016 majoring in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology. In the years since, he has worked in a sequencing service provider lab and was appointed the sequencing platform lead. Through the SG10K national precision project on the HiSeqX platform, he gained practical experience with Illumina's Next Generation Sequencing technology during his employment. In 2019, Kingsley added the NovaSeq 6000 to his repertoire as sequencing demand shifted from the HiSeqX to the NovaSeq 6000. Kingsley joined Illumina as a Technical Application Scientist in December 2021, with a strong desire to learn more about the company's technology. He has since specialized in providing technical support for the instrumentation queue. |
