Illumina Technical Support invites you to join us in the part 2 of a 2-part Metagenomics Webinar series. Following Metagenomics Sequencing Part I, in this webinar, we will discuss Introduction to Data Analysis in Metagenomics. We assume a basic understanding of Illumina sequencing technology and knowledge of library prep workflow for Metagenomics.

Nurdyana Abdul Rahman |
Nurdyana graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) with a PhD in Microbial genomics and ecology in 2016. She worked for a Sequencing Service provider as a Research Assistant. By handling the Illumina NGS platforms, she gained practical experience with Illumina’s Next Generation Sequencing technology during her employment. She then moved to a Hospital Microbiology laboratory as a Medical Lab Scientist, where she was responsible for overseeing the epidemiology section and setting up NGS in clinical microbiology to assist in outbreak investigations. Nurdyana joined Illumina as a Sr Technical Applications Scientist in February 2022 to provide analysis software and bioinformatics technical support. |
