Ritika Chaturvedi Technical Applications Scientist, Illumina Ritika graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT-G) in India, with a Master’s in Biotechnology in 2013. Ritika has an experience of more than 9 years working in the field of genomics and NGS. She has worked since 2014 as an Applications Specialist in a genomics laboratory in Dubai, UAE. She worked extensively on molecular biology applications and NGS technology. She supervised her team in whole exome sequencing, targeted and amplicon sequencing. She then worked as a Laboratory Manager where she was involved in effectively managing laboratory services, training staff and assisting in development of new laboratory tests. She has also worked as a Senior Field Application Specialist, where she was involved in overall field application support functions including pre- and post-sales technical support and customer trainings. Ritika joined Illumina in March 2022, as a Senior Technical Applications Scientist.
