Anthony Alkhoury obtained his PhD in Toxicology, Genetics, and Biochemistry from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse-France and Saint Joseph University-Beirut. Anthony then served as an Associate Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Paris.

In 2022, Anthony joined Illumina Europe and moved to Dubai in 2024 as a Senior Technical Applications Partner; he remains dedicated to Illumina's mission of Improving Human Health by Unlocking the Power of the Genome.
