Heesu graduated from the Han Kyoung National University in 2020 majoring in Plant life and environmental science. In the years since, she worked in a sequencing service provider lab as a lab staff. By handling the Illumina NGS platforms she gained practical experience with Illumina’s Next Generation Sequencing technology during her employment. Heesu joined Illumina as a Technical Applications Scientist in 2021, with a strong desire to learn more about the company’s technology. She has since specialized in providing technical support for the instrument and bioinformatics queue.

Taeyoon Kim

Taeyoon graduated from Hallym University in 2018 with a M.S in Microbiology. He researched microbiome study and published microbiome papers by using Illumina technology. Prior to joining Illumina, he worked as a Asst. Researcher in R&D center at Sanigen. He provided NGS sequencing and 16S metagenomics services. He joined Illumina as a Technical Application Scientist in Jul 2018. Since then, he has developed a specialization in providing technical support for the NGS queue and 16S metagenomics design for customer.
