A demonstration of our new NextSeq 1000/2000 XLEAP-SBS cartridge preparation ‘lift and release’ step, which is critical to reduce air bubbles and stabilize cartridge components after the inversion step. To perform this step, place the cartridge on a flat surface. Lift the cartridge by the arms approximately 1.5–2.5 in (4–7 cm) above the flat surface as shown, and release onto the bench five times.
