The MiSeq i100 Plus System is a benchtop sequencing system that integrates sequencing, primary analysis and secondary analysis. The system includes embedded touchscreen monitor and on-instrument computer, control software, hardware-accelerated DRAGEN secondary analysis pipelines, and 12 months warranty (including parts and labor). The system is self-installable by the customer and does not include installation services.

The MiSeq i100 Series Reagent Kits use integrated cartridges that include sequencing reagents and the flow cell, simplifying library loading and improving efficiency throughout the sequencing run helping minimize errors. Easy maintenance with cartridge-based fluidics minimizes cross-contamination between samples and runs. The cartridges have toolless disassembly, recyclable plastics, and are formamide-free.
The MiSeq i100 Series has multiple reagent configurations supporting a variety of applications and sample throughputs. Each configuration will have different run times. Run times range from ~4-15.5 hr.

The MiSeq i100 Series can generate up to 100M single reads and 200M paired-end reads, depending on the flow cell type.

The MiSeq i100 Series offers up to 10 configurations with four flow cell types. The 5M and 25M flow cells are available on the MiSeq i100 System; the 5M, 25M, 50M, and 100M flow cells are available on the MiSeq i100 Plus System. The 5M and 25M flow cells are available now; the 50M and 100M flow cells will be available in 2025.

The MiSeq i100 System is a lower cost instrument that runs 5M and 25M flow cells to support lower data output and sample throughputs. The MiSeq i100 Plus System accesses a wider range of throughputs with 5M, 25M, 50M, and 100M flow cells for more sequencing per sample and larger studies. The MiSeq i100 Plus System with 5M and 25M flow cells are available now. The MiSeq i100 System, and 50M and 100M flow cells are available starting in 2025.
