Using GenomeStudio software to generate custom cluster files is necessary to analyse custom microarray content. In this webinar, we discuss the basics of cluster files including when to use a custom cluster file, why custom cluster files are needed, as well as the detailed steps required to create your own custom cluster file. Learn how to cluster the SNPs on your custom array by properly filtering and manually editing the file.

Wei Wen graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Biochemistry and Immunology from Monash University in Australia. She previously worked in an oncology research environment, where she gained hands on experience on NGS.

Wei Wen joined Illumina in 2023 as a Technical Applications Scientist. She is passionate about applying her knowledge and experience in troubleshooting technical challenges. She is now specialised in supporting customers on Illumina instrumentation, microarray and clinical products.
