Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) is redefining standard of care in precision oncology enabling nucleotide-level resolution of a tumor’s complete genomic landscape in a single comprehensive assay. Unlike iterative multiple single-gene tests, FISH-PCR-single gene or small hotspot panels, CGP uses advanced technologies such as next-generation sequencing to detect a broad range of genetic alterations, including mutations, copy number changes, structural variants and large genomic signatures (TMB, MSI, HRD); helping identify actionable targets for tailored therapies and immunotherapies. Its application supports more accurate clinical decision-making, expands access to targeted treatments and clinical trials, and improves patient outcomes associated with longer progression-free and overall survival.

In this webinar, we will provide:

Technical Excellence:

  • Overview of Illumina’s TruSight Oncology 500 v2:
    • DNA/RNA-based NGS solution
    • Reliable performance with limited tissue or liquid biopsy samples
    • Key workflow steps, analytical performance, and technical innovations
  • Best practices for implementing CGP in routine

Expert Clinical insights:

  • The role of clear guidelines and responsible implementation in integrating CGP into clinical practice
  • How to fully realize the potential of precision medicine

Takeaway:

  • A practical, dual-perspective understanding to successfully implement and utilize TSO 500 v2 in clinical and laboratory settings
