The 34th Annual Lorne Cancer Conference 2022 will be held from the 10th - 12th February 2022 and will proceed as a “hybrid” event with face-to-face and virtual content delivery.
Lorne Cancer 2022 will explore in depth tumor immunology, genomics, molecular signaling, and lung and pancreatic cancers, and other key themes such as:

Speaker: Prof Clare Scott, Joint Division Head of Clinical Translation, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI)
Date: Friday, 11 February 2022
Time: 1:00PM - 2:00PM (AEST)
Interested to learn more about precision oncology from Prof Clare Scott from WEHI? She will be presenting at the Illumina sponsored virtual workshop on 11 February at 1pm-2pm on “Precision Oncology in Rare Gynaecological Cancers: How to Make a Difference to Patient Outcomes”.
Rare cancers often lack evidence-based treatments and underlying genomic biomarkers may allow more rational selection of treatments. Prof Clare Scott and her team uses Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), which has the potential to discover new cancer drivers via the WEHI Stafford Fox Rare Cancer Program (SFRCP), in order to discover therapeutic strategies and novel drivers for rare gynaecological cancers.
Due to the covid situation, Illumina will be presenting this workshop virtually.
