Illumina: How to Unlock the Full Potential of Genomics with Illumina Connected Analytics

Illumina has pioneered major advances for next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform simplicity, flexibility, and performance. To keep up with the vast amount of data now produced by these platforms, Illumina recognizes that users require robust, yet easy-to-use analysis solutions that can efficiently translate genomic data into meaningful results. In this talk, we will introduce and take a deep-dive into Illumina Connected Analytics, which provides a secure genomic data platform to operationalize informatics and drive scientific insights, allowing users to analyze, manage, aggregate, mine, and explore data more efficiently.

Theragen Bio: How to build genomic analysis environment on AWS Cloud?

Recently, as the number of cases of genomic data analysis using the cloud has increased, the interest in using the cloud is also increasing, especially among researchers. However, many researchers are unfamiliar with using the cloud because using the cloud without basic training in using the cloud can be more costly than using the server. Therefore, the AWS World-Wide Public-Sector Healthcare Team and Theragen Bio team will guide you on how to build and introduce you to the solutions that many dielectric researchers use primarily. First of all, we will introduce what the cloud is and how it is used in the genomic analytic fields, how to create an AMI-based EC2 instance on AWS Cloud, how to build an RStudio environment, and deliver data visualization as basic content. Through this session, we hope many researchers will become familiar with cloud analytics and experience research environments that will allow them to focus more on finding meaning in their data in a cost-effective environment.
